Working Hours and Salary

As a Commercial Analyst at MJ Quinn, you will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm. The salary for this position is between £24,000 and £26,000 per annum.

Primary Objective

The primary objective of this role is to monitor and analyze the financial and commercial aspects of MJ Quinn's operations. This includes processing day-to-day tasks and providing feedback to senior figures on revenue, costs, and areas of exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating reports and analysis to drive timely performance in billing, cost, profit, and cash collection.
  • Processing, inputting, and validating records using various IT systems.
  • Supporting the Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor in all financial and commercial aspects of the project.
  • Creating reports and analysis to drive and monitor performance, such as billing to cash, work in progress, and profitability.
  • Ensuring targets and objectives set are monitored and maintained and suitably underpin financial targets.
  • Assisting with processing customer billing in a timely manner to minimize work in progress levels.
Person Specification
  • Experience working within a financial or commercial team.
  • Intermediate level of Excel, including Pivot tables and V Lookups.
  • Experience working with and analyzing large data sets.
  • Knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
