Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated technical sales manager to oversee the sales of advanced motion control systems in high-stakes environments such as defence, aerospace, and subsea applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to access target markets and secure new business opportunities.
- Deliver technical sales presentations that showcase our product capabilities and unique value proposition.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to grasp customer needs and product applications.
- Offer expert guidance and solutions to tackle intricate technical challenges.
- Negotiate contracts and finalize sales while ensuring profitability and margin maintenance.
- Oversee the complete sales process from lead generation to order fulfillment.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure readiness for order processing.
- Consistently meet and surpass sales objectives and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience, ideally in selling components or systems within the defence, aerospace, or subsea sectors.
- Comprehensive technical understanding of mechanical systems, components, and materials.
- Proven ability to interpret and convey complex technical requirements.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate value propositions.
- Self-driven with a history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for client and partner meetings as necessary.
