We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in Cockermouth, Cumbria.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the kitchen team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, overseeing portion control, waste management, food preparation, and all procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and presentation
- Overseeing stock rotation and ordering
- Ensuring that all menus and specials boards are up-to-date and accurate
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Qualification in Level 3 Food Safety
- Driving license and ability to drive
