Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Cloud Engineer to join our Technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based infrastructures and platforms that support our products and client environments. You will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams, as well as external partners, to ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of our cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage scalable, resilient cloud-native infrastructures on Microsoft Azure, adhering to best practices.
  • Oversee the configuration and utilization of Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD tools.
  • Drive capacity and performance management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Implement security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance protocols.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
  • Utilize automation tools and scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provision and manage IaaS and PaaS resources effectively.
  • Engage with data engineering and analytics platforms to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Understand and apply cloud networking concepts to ensure seamless connectivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Experience in SQL Database administration within IaaS and PaaS environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
