Job Title: Senior Azure Platform Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Platform Consultant to join our team at Version 1. As a key member of our Cloud Platform Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions on Microsoft Azure, working closely with customers and colleagues to understand requirements and identify opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement technical solutions based on customer requirements, communicating effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deliver Azure technologies and solutions that are highly available, high performing, and secure, according to best practices noted in the Cloud Adoption Framework and Well Architected Framework.
  • Work with Cloud native solutions and services, network and security solutions and services, and use DevOps and IaC tooling.
  • Identify solutions for Cloud deployments, project issues or blockers, and take the lead in resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to technical decisions and team development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience in leading on technical designs, delivering Azure technologies, and working with Cloud native solutions and services.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to articulate the commercial impacts of technical challenges and opportunities.
  • Good understanding of DevOps and IaC tooling, and ability to identify solutions for Cloud deployments.
  • Passionate about continual learning and development to keep track of emerging technologies.
