About the Role

The Aerospace Executive will play a key role in supporting the ADS Group Ltd's aerospace sector activities, including member engagement, events, and trade facilitation. This will involve managing and engaging with Sector Boards, Working Groups, and Special Interest Groups, as well as coordinating and leading on business development activities and opportunities for members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Aerospace Business Development and the Aerospace Director in delivering the aerospace sector business plan.
  • Develop and increase ADS membership with support from the wider team.
  • Manage space sector engagement programmes in line with ADS deliverables and lead on the development and delivery of trade pipeline and events.
  • Coordinate and facilitate ADS special interest groups and sector committees.
  • Coordinate and deliver appropriate events and seminars in support of ADS and its members' needs and objectives.
  • Represent ADS at meetings to engage and assist members.
  • Maintain close working relationships throughout the membership to ensure companies have support and solutions to business issues.
Requirements
  • Broad understanding of the aerospace sector and ability to manage complex stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to handle confidential and company proprietary information as required to support individual member companies.
  • Strong communication and presentational skills.
  • Capability of working as a self-starter and a strong team player.
  • Sound knowledge of the working of UK industry and government is essential.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and overseas as appropriate to deliver role priorities.
  • Must be able to obtain DBS clearance.
Contract and Benefits
  • Permanent: full-time role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Location: Hybrid working ideally 1 day a week in the London Head office.
  • Benefits: bonus, pension, private health insurance, life insurance, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, 9-day fortnight, hybrid working, extended remote working, enhanced parental leave, 28 days annual leave, buy additional annual leave, long service additional annual leave.
