Mainframe Modernization Business Development Senior

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a seasoned Business Development Senior to drive Mainframe Modernization initiatives for Global Financial Services (GFS) customers. As a key member of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Enterprise Application & Migration Modernization team, you will be responsible for identifying Mainframe customers and opportunities, qualifying and building pipeline, driving Mainframe Modernization discussions with customers, and leading the overall sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with senior customer executives to build close relationships and close large revenue accounts
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow Mainframe Migration and Modernization related businesses
  • Collaborate with Mainframe Migration and Modernization partners to drive business growth
  • Provide thought leadership on Mainframe Modernization solutions and best practices
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in direct/matrix sales, business development, and program management
  • Proven track record of growing Mainframe Migration and Modernization related businesses
  • Strong relationships with Mainframe Migration and Modernization partners
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences
  • 30% travel required
