As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist at Northampton General Hospital, you will be part of a well-established regional network of psychologists working within the East Midlands Cancer Alliance.
This role offers opportunities for peer supervision, collaboration, and strategic regional service development.
You will have access to the added support and resources offered by Macmillan Cancer Support, including specialist opportunities for training, development, and networking with other Macmillan professionals across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a small team to provide psychological services to patients with cancer.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement regional service strategies.
- Participate in peer supervision and networking opportunities with other Macmillan professionals.
A driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business purposes would be advantageous.
You must have a strong understanding of psychological principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
