Financial Controller

Kirintec Limited is a leading provider of innovative Counter-IED, Counter-UAS and Electronic Warfare technology. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of the company's finance function, including accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and other financial reports as required.
- Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes to ensure accurate forecasting and cash flow management.
- Oversee regulatory functions, including VAT returns and EC sales lists, and ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Organise and manage financial audits to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage daily accounts routines, including journals, bank transactions, prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset register maintenance.
- Lead the accounts payable team and ensure timely and controlled supplier payments.
- Liaise with external accountants to plan and complete year-ends, tax planning, calculations, and returns.
- Liaise with bankers to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support staff on Sage50 access and training.
- Oversee credit control and ensure adherence to Kirintec processes and policies.
- Ensure adherence to the national security framework in accordance with Security Requirements for FSC Contractors.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work within a small, flexible, and dynamic team.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Desirable: Microsoft Project and Visio skills.
5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
ProbationPermanent role with a probationary period.
