Employment Opportunity
The Board of Trustees wishes to appoint a Peripatetic SEN Teaching Assistant with SEND Specialism to teach within our Inclusion Hubs. The successful candidate will share our vision and values and be committed to Inclusion, ensuring our staff, pupils, and families meet their potential.
The post holder will be deployed into our Derby Hub and will work in person in one of our Inclusion Hubs. They will have the opportunity to influence and shape practice across both locally and wider across the Trust (through the use of technology and as part of the Inclusion Team).
Key Responsibilities
- Have high expectations of achievement, attainment, and behavior
- Be an excellent Peripatetic SEN Teaching Assistant with SEND Specialism with potential to develop further in the Trust
- Lead by example, inspiring and motivating children and colleagues
- Have a commitment to supporting and developing the learning of pupils with SEND
- Support the Head of Inclusion and Trust Leader Complex SEND in implementing the hub vision
- Be committed to working in partnership with all stakeholders, including parents and external agencies
