We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Peripatetic SEN Teaching Assistant with SEND Specialism to join our Inclusion Team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children with Special Educational Needs in our Inclusion Hubs.
As a Peripatetic SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our Inclusion Team to develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of children with SEND.
You will have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and external agencies, to ensure that children receive the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support to children with Special Educational Needs in our Inclusion Hubs
- Work closely with the Inclusion Team to develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of children with SEND
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure that children receive the best possible support
- Contribute to the development of the Inclusion Team and the wider Trust
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High expectations of achievement, attainment, and behaviour
- Excellent Peripatetic SEN Teaching Assistant skills with SEND Specialism
- Ability to lead by example, inspiring and motivating children and colleagues
- Commitment to supporting and developing the learning of pupils with SEND
- Ability to work in partnership with all stakeholders, including parents and external agencies
