Creative Support is a leading provider of care and support services, seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Newbury.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives. You will provide practical, emotional, and behavioural support to service users, promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support with daily living tasks, such as personal care and domestic duties
  • Supporting individuals who communicate non-verbally
  • Accompanying service users on community activities, such as walking and swimming
  • Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users
  • Supporting service users with personal care and domestic tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations
  • Commitment to promoting the dignity, independence, and well-being of service users
