Relief Support Worker Opportunity

Creative Support is a leading provider of support services for individuals with learning disabilities. We are currently seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Newbury.

About the Role

As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional, and behavioral support to service users in their own homes or community settings. You will work closely with our team to develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users, supporting them with daily living tasks, personal care, and community activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support with daily living tasks, personal care, and community activities
  • Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
  • Support individuals who communicate non-verbally
  • Support with community activities such as walking, swimming, etc.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the needs of service users
Requirements

We are looking for a calm, resourceful, and energetic individual who is well-motivated, hardworking, and keen to make a positive difference to the lives of others. You will have excellent communication and team working skills, and be able to promote service users' dignity, independence, and well-being.

Prior experience in this field of work is essential for this role. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
