Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting client sites throughout the UK and Ireland to perform routine servicing, fault finding, repairs, installations, and commissioning of our bespoke machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM's, fault find, repairs, breakdowns, installations, and commissioning.
  • Remote access diagnostics and support.
  • Operator training and support.
  • Complete service records and job reports including time on site and parts/spares log.
Requirements:
  • Engineering-based qualification such as a HNC/HND.
  • Knowledge of packaging machinery or similar, with experience with labelling machinery being of particular interest.
  • Electrical knowledge including fault finding, schematics, wiring, and basic PLC programming skills.
  • Mechanical knowledge including conveyors, gearing, bearings, etc.
  • Fabrication skills including cutting, grinding, and assembly, with welding being an advantage.
  • Problem-solving skills with the desire to find effective solutions.
