Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services, including electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of building services to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards.
- Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of building services, including electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
