Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services, systems, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring that our facilities are safe and functional.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring that our maintenance needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, with a strong background in electrical or building services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards, with the ability to ensure compliance in all aspects of maintenance work.
