About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Group Leader to join our team at Robinwood Activity Centre Limited. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for delivering a range of outdoor activities and adventures to children, while also developing their skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality outdoor activities and adventures to children, including team-building exercises and skill-based sessions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of activities and events.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children and colleagues at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £12 per hour (£22,464 per annum) or £12.40 at Barhaugh Hall (£23,213 per annum).
  • A range of benefits, including free meals, a house purchase assistance scheme, paid-for qualifications, profit-related bonuses, pensions, uniform, and staff discounts.
  • A relocation allowance of £1500 for staff joining us at our Barhaugh Hall centre in Alston.
  • A profit bonus each year, which amounted to an average of just over £1,000 each in 2023.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • No prior qualifications are required, although previous experience working with children is ideal.
