Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at BMC - Medway. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our residents with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of Residential Childcare Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working in a residential childcare setting, preferably with SEMH and Complex Needs.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children's Act and Quality Care Standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
