Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to spearhead our business development efforts in the logistics sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in key markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of the logistics market, particularly in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands.
- Sales Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.
- Price Structure and Tariffs: Collaborate with clients to determine optimal price structures and tariffs, ensuring competitive pricing and maximum revenue.
- Sales and Marketing Coordination: Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring excellent customer service and retention.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Industry Events: Attend relevant trade seminars, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Travel and Networking: Travel within the UK and abroad as necessary, building and maintaining professional networks.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in logistics sales.
- 1 year of sales experience.
- 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word.
Location: In-person work location.
Salary: £40,000.00 per year.
