Prison Security Officer

As a Prison Security Escort with SkyBlue Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become long-term, and we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Security Escort Duties: Escort and oversee contractors, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, while they complete maintenance work within the prison.
- Identification and Briefing: Verify the identification of contractors and ensure they have been briefed on security measures.
- Booking and Tool Management: Book contractors in and out of the facility and create a tool list to ensure all necessary equipment is accounted for.
- Radio Communication: Use a radio to request permission to move contractors within the prison.
- Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with contractors and other team members.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail to ensure the security and safety of the facility.
- Safety Conscious: Be safety conscious and aware of potential risks and hazards within the prison environment.
- Security Vetting: Be able to pass security vetting, which includes providing references, passing security police checks, and providing photo identification.
