Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Gi Group is proud to be working in partnership with an innovative automation company to recruit a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer. This role offers a flexible working pattern and a competitive salary of £35,000 + overtime.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external site maintenance and small building repairs. Your primary objective will be to ensure the building is kept safe and that DIY projects are managed in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out gas and plumbing repairs and servicing
  • Manage company fixtures and fittings
  • Support with small project work and DIY repairs
  • Maintain the buildings (internally and externally)
  • Assist with the supervision of contractors
  • Book in and out of spares
Requirements:
  • F Gas and Level 2 city and guilds / Level 3 preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • PC literate including MS Office
  • Plumbing skills
  • 1 or more years' experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Basic DIY skills, stud walls, plastering etc
