Job Title: Risk Manager

We are seeking a skilled Risk Manager to join our Project Controls Team in Manchester, working on high-profile infrastructure projects across various sectors. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring overall risk exposure, assessing against the remaining risk budget and timeline, and producing fit-for-purpose risk reports to support senior management action.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate threats and capitalize on opportunities
  • Conduct quantitative risk assessments to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels
  • Utilize risk management tools such as Safran, @risk, PRA, and web-based database/reporting tools like ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, and PowerBI
  • Facilitate risk and scenario analysis workshops and provide qualitative and quantitative risk assessments
Requirements:
  • Experience in a risk delivery role on major projects or blue-chip clients
  • Project experience within energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities will be an advantage
  • Attainment or working towards IRM/APM risk certified candidates preferred
