Position Overview

MarkJames Search is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team, providing essential first-line assistance to users in need of technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering assistance through various channels including remote tools, phone, and electronic communication.
  • Offering support for a range of devices including computers, laptops, printers, and networking hardware.
  • Accurately documenting support requests in a ticketing system, diagnosing issues, and escalating as necessary.
  • Collaborating with second-line support and external service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in IT support, with knowledge of printer setup, email troubleshooting, and VPN usage being advantageous.
  • Experience in resolving technical problems via phone and remote access to various hardware and software.
  • Candidates with relevant educational qualifications will also be considered.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly approach are essential.

This role is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a shift pattern covering weekdays, along with potential weekend and holiday shifts available for additional hours.
