Role Overview
In your capacity as a member of the tax department, you will be instrumental in supporting tax compliance activities for clients. Your primary duties will encompass:
* Preparation of individual, trust, and estate tax filings
* Drafting annual accounts for trusts
* Managing client documentation
* Organizing and calculating tax liabilities
* Performing Capital Gains Tax calculations and 60-day submissions

Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with team members within the tax department and the broader private client group to ensure a seamless and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess AAT or ATT qualifications (or be nearing completion) along with relevant accounting experience in a firm or personal tax setting. A solid grasp of personal tax return preparation and submission processes is essential.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong IT skills, the capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively, excellent analytical abilities, and polished communication skills.
