MRI Radiographer FlexiBank

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team on a flexible bank basis. As an MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide variety of MRI scans using our state-of-the-art GE Signa Voyager 1.5 Tesla scanner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake MRI scans to the highest standards, adhering to departmental protocols and RCR guidelines.
  • Participate in administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • Assist with general radiography as required, ensuring compliance with IRMER regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, being sensitive to patients' needs for dignity and privacy.
  • Ensure that agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with company policies.
  • Promote clinical excellence at all times.
  • Lead the implementation of departmental action plans as a result of clinical audit and review.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment and independently as required.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skills in the area of clinical practice.
  • Experience of working in an imaging department with the opportunity to consolidate skills.
  • Promote clinical excellence at all times.
  • Be actively involved in development and implementation of clinical governance and risk management plans.
  • Optimise patient outcomes with available resources whilst complying with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Where required, develop and implement action plans as a result of clinical audit and reviews.
  • Proactively support the health, safety, and wellbeing of team members and treat employees fairly, equitably, and with respect.
  • Ensure training needs are identified and training plans are in place to meet individual, professional, and organisational needs.
  • Promote and encourage the professional development of all clinical staff.
