SEN Behavioral Support Specialist

Do you possess experience in assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Location: Hyndburn, Lancashire.

Compensation: £13.50 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Demonstrate confidence in implementing various behavior management techniques.
  • · Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • · Cultivate positive relationships with students.
  • · Ensure a secure and tranquil learning atmosphere to engage students effectively.
  • · Assist students in understanding their emotions to enhance their self-esteem and resilience.
  • · Collaborate with other professionals to prioritize the child's developmental needs.
  • · Identify learning gaps in students and communicate findings to parents and the Class Teacher.

Qualifications:

  • · Relevant degree or practical experience in supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • · Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
  • An enthusiastic approach and eagerness to learn.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the safety of students.
  • · Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
