We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Social Worker within the Intake and Assessment Division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being of children and families in our community.
Salary and Work Schedule
The advertised salary is based on a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, with part-time options available on a pro-rata basis. The hourly pay rate will be discussed during the interview process.
Team Environment
Our Intake and Assessment Team comprises experienced team leaders, senior practitioners, social workers, family support personnel, and administrative staff. This collaborative environment is designed to facilitate effective communication and support among all team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments regarding child protection concerns and evaluate children in need.
- Engage in direct, time-sensitive interventions with children and their families.
- Participate in team duties on a rotational basis while managing a short-term caseload.
Qualifications
