Locum Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out trauma surgery, including complex trauma of the upper and lower limbs, at a busy major trauma centre.
- Join the general adult on-call rota, with designated on-call, main trauma list, and fracture clinic commitments.
- Train orthopaedic trainees in theatre and clinic, and support their professional development.
- Contribute to the management of complex periarticular injuries and open fractures, in conjunction with our team of plastic surgeons.
- Fellowship training in trauma surgery and experience of working in the UK major trauma system.
- Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
