About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Bedford, UK. As a key partner to the business, you will drive business performance through the delivery of a comprehensive and professional Human Resources advisory and coaching for the Commercial, Central Functions and Operations functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Provide coaching and advice on HR-related queries from employees and people managers to foster employee wellbeing, engagement, and team performance.
  • Manage the full cycle of Employee Relations, including grievance and disciplinary procedures, absences, performance management, and legal compliance.
  • Design and implement the learning agenda by partnering with business leaders to identify training needs across different teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with business and legal context to ensure alignment of HR practice and agenda.
  • Produce and analyze monthly data for key stakeholders, including legislative updates, annual appraisals, absence rates, and active employee relations cases.
  • Provide end-to-end support for the rollout of HR Corporate processes, ensuring legal compliance and change management.
  • Support business projects as needed, including engagement surveys and suggested outputs for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of UK Employment Law.
  • Experience managing grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate, inspire people, and drive change in the organization.
  • Effective coach and strong influencer across different stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented with a passion for driving initiatives to completion and delivering on commitments.
  • Experience building talent and capability within the organization.
