Senior Programme Delivery Lead

Barclays UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Delivery Lead to play a key role in coordinating the delivery of wholesale lending initiatives and managing a complex workbook of delivery to ensure deadlines are met and milestones achieved in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage change projects within the organisation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and manage project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
- Manage project teams, ensuring they are properly resourced and have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
- Creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
- Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
- Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
