Citi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Associate Banker team in providing exceptional client service to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI). As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Client Service: Provide excellent client service in partnership with Private Bankers, leveraging a strong investment and product experience, transaction management, and ensuring compliance with all aspects of reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Day-to-day leadership of the Associate Banker team, working closely with the Business Manager to ensure the team's capabilities, development, and overall performance meet the highest standards and comply with internal policies and processes.
  • Client Development: Exceed client expectations by thoroughly understanding their problems and providing creative solutions. Support the Private Bankers with prospecting and deepening of existing client activities and maintain close contact with clients to develop comprehensive understanding of client needs.
  • Account Strategies: Assist in executing specific account strategies, proposing solutions, and negotiating standard transactions. Support the Private Bankers by working closely with clients and product specialists, transaction support, On-Boarding, and Client Services teams to implement client decisions and ensure effective after-sales follow-up.
  • Compliance and Risk: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions and servicing clients, escalating, managing, and reporting any risk or control issues.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative HR processes, including performance reviews and recruitment. Monitor and adapt to changes in business processes and policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in private banking support roles and in dealing directly with clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of all Citi banking systems, platforms, and capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving performance.
  • A professionally recognized banking-based background in front office, investments, and transaction management.
  • Bachelor/University degree, Master degree preferred.
