Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at TDA Telecoms. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to contractual timelines and providing commercial guidance on all project-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of monthly applications for payment as per contract terms.
  • Provide expert commercial advice to site teams and management.
  • Draft and manage NEC3 subcontracts, ensuring clear communication with the supply chain.
  • Prepare and assess internal contract valuations and project costs.
  • Compile and present monthly cost and value reports to senior management.
  • Foster collaboration with project managers, managing QS, and engineering disciplines.
  • Support contracts managers with commercial advice.
  • Manage projects to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Relevant degree-level qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office packages.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, ranging from £10k to £10m.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, drive, and self-motivation.
  • Experience in producing detailed reports.
  • Desirable: Relevant professional qualification (RICS/CICES).
