We're seeking a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our Kier Transportation team. This role involves ensuring contract employees have the necessary skills and qualifications for their roles, while also developing the skillset of the contract through engagement events and collaboration with corporate teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering compliance training to contract employees in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Administering and overseeing activities related to Highways Passport, with a focus on embedding and driving best practice.
  • Maintaining the contract matrix and ensuring employees' training, qualifications, and skills are up-to-date.
  • Assisting with engagement sessions to help employees identify development opportunities.
  • Building relationships with managers and leadership teams to promote learning and development.
  • Providing general contract administration support.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or general administration position.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
