Contracting Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Steelworks Contracts Manager to lead our fabrications team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel/metal work and experience running gangs of steel fixers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate fabrications projects nationwide, with a focus on the North West region.
- Lead a team of steel fixers and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement project plans, including RAMS and programmes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on flexibility and commitment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in steel/metal work and gang management.
- Strong knowledge of RAMS and programmes.
- Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working on projects with budgets ranging from £50k to £4M.
- Flexibility and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to cost and price work.
- A sense of humour and ability to work well in a team.
