Contracting Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Steelworks Contracts Manager to lead our fabrications team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel/metal work and experience running gangs of steel fixers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate steel fixer gangs on various projects nationwide, with a focus on the North West region.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget and financial targets.
Requirements:
- RAMS experience and proficiency in programmes.
- Ability to run multiple sites simultaneously, with a minimum of 2-5 sites.
- Proven experience on projects with budgets ranging from £50k to £4M.
- Flexibility and commitment to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to cost and price work effectively.
- A sense of humour and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
