Contracting Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Steelworks Contracts Manager to lead our fabrications team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel/metal work and experience running gangs of steel fixers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate steel fixer gangs on various projects nationwide
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements:
- RAMS experience and proficiency in programmes
- Ability to run multiple sites simultaneously, with a minimum of 2-5 sites
- Experience working on projects with budgets ranging from £50k to £4M
- Flexibility and commitment to meet project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to cost and price work effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
