Theatre Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Theatre Team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Theatre Team Lead. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Theatre Department, including line management responsibility for the service specialty. You will be expected to provide first-class care to all patients and demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
The role involves supervising the development of clinical teams, creating a learning environment, and reviewing individual performance. You will also be responsible for supervising the delegation of work within the team and reviewing performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing or operating department practice, with current NMC/HCPC registration. You will also have evidence of post-registration study/development and a recognised teaching qualification or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the development of clinical teams
- Supervise the delegation of work within the team
- Work with and on behalf of the Theatre Operational Lead
- Establish excellent working relationships with all service users
- Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
- Evidence of post-registration study/development
- Recognised teaching qualification or equivalent experience
- Recognised leadership qualification/training or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of clinical skills required to undertake the role
- Knowledge of current professional and clinical issues
- Knowledge of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults procedures
- Substantial years post-registration experience
- Excellent time management, record management, and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Motivated individual, commitment to personal and professional development
