Maintenance Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our client's team in St Helens. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and factory environment, as well as motivating and managing the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
