Maintenance Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our client's team in St Helens. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and factory equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve high levels of performance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of all machinery and factory equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of maintenance funds.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
