Furness College Careers is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Employer Engagement and Events Coordinator. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work closely with the Marketing Team to promote the College's offer and maintain strong relationships with local employers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to engage with local employers and promote the College's courses and services.
- Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and workshops to showcase the College's expertise and build relationships with industry partners.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to develop marketing materials and campaigns to promote the College's offer.
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers, understanding their needs and developing solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues across all College campuses to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to employer engagement.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong understanding of the education and training sector, with a passion for promoting the College's offer to local employers.
Working hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, with evenings as required to support events and activities.
