Part Time GP Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part Time GP to join our team at GPDQ. As a Part Time GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultations via phone, video, or in-person, following established service pathways.
  • Facilitate patient referrals to specialists or the emergency department through established pathways.
  • Perform urgent care as needed, while coordinating emergency patient transfers.
  • Partner with the GP team, including clinical nurses, service leaders, non-clinical staff, and fellow GPs within Primary Care.
  • Coordinate with Secondary Care services, such as radiology, pathology, and emergency departments.
  • Engage with additional healthcare services, including RBH and BHFT, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience working within a Primary Care Setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
