Role Overview:

In the capacity of Engineering Project Lead at Safran Seats, you will be instrumental in overseeing engineering initiatives within the Technical Domain of our organization. Your role will involve collaboration across various functional teams to ensure that projects adhere to performance standards and yield exceptional outcomes. This position demands proficient communication abilities and a strong aptitude for leadership and problem resolution.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assessing project risks and formulating risk mitigation strategies
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and financial estimates
  • Monitoring project advancement and addressing any conflicts
  • Providing updates on project status to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Overseeing technical specifications and modifications
  • Engaging in Design Review sessions

Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND in Engineering (mandatory), Engineering Degree in Aerospace (preferred)
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with certification standards and Aircraft Interiors
  • Expertise in configuration management and change control processes
  • Experience in financial oversight within a product development context
