Project Management Officer

Join our team at Safran Engineering Services UK Limited as a Project Management Officer to support the overall program by coordinating, leading and managing various projects in engineering, Industrialization test & development.
The role is based in Cwmbran 3 days a week and 2 from home. The role can be a fixed term contract on payroll until the end of 2024, or a contractor inside IR35 route.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely delivery of design documentation
- Manage supply chain and point of contact for third party contractors
- Deliver projects to schedule and plan and deliver project tests, documentation including reports and reviews
- Manage project resourcing requirements and report status and progress, on a monthly basis, including financial and technical scope
- Identify and manage the resolution of emergent risks and issues, and escalate if required
- Manage digital tools, KPIs and dashboards and expediting and chasing to ensure deadlines are met and urgent issues resolved
- Relevant degree level or substantial experience, ideally holds PMI, IPMA or equivalent certifications
- Experience of working in Programme Management or with complex project management
- Strong engineering background preferred
- Experience in managing research and development projects
- Able to quickly build good working relationships with project team and stakeholders
- Good communicator at all levels
- Well organized and able to maintain focus on deliverables
- Early finish on a Friday (1pm)
