About the Role

We are seeking a talented Midweight Interior Designer to join our team at Architecture Social. As an established architecture and interior design practice, we deliver high-quality, residential projects that showcase our expertise and passion for design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our FF&E team and design colleagues to develop and present interior design concepts
  • Design and detail sketch drawings for layouts and bespoke FF&E items
  • Assist with CAD work and the development of design drawings, including furniture, lighting, and joinery
  • Prepare FF&E schedules and manage project budgets
  • Source and procure FF&E items, coordinating with suppliers from concept to execution
  • Conduct regular site visits and assist with FF&E installations
  • Research and build relationships with suppliers, maintaining an organised sample library
  • Participate in showroom visits for both project-related and general industry research

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in luxury residential interior design
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks; sketching skills are a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Expertise in FF&E sourcing and supplier management
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • Initiative-driven with strong independent and teamwork capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
