Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Cedars care home. As a critical member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals to meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account resident preferences and dietary requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for residents and their families
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve seamless service delivery and maintain a positive work environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a similar setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious meals
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the kitchen team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
