We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a Financial Strategy Partner to join our vibrant finance team at ASDA Express. In this capacity, you will collaborate with essential stakeholders to improve business performance through analytical decision-making.

We seek a commercially driven self-starter with a proactive mindset towards problem-solving and achieving targeted outcomes. Given the demands of the role, we require a robust analytical thinker capable of pinpointing business opportunities to boost profitability through sales enhancement and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reports and dashboards.
  • Evaluate profitability across various locations and revenue streams, providing strategic insights.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting initiatives to ensure financial precision.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance operational effectiveness and profitability.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across different departments to cultivate strong business relationships.
  • Identify and rectify process inefficiencies through cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Employ data analysis to innovate and optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Support senior management in facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Undertake additional ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Finalist or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Effective and persuasive communicator with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and build positive relationships.
  • Ambitious and driven individual who motivates others to achieve objectives through visionary leadership.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how the current and potential customer base aligns with the business strategy.
  • Recognized subject matter expert (SME), skilled in leading project initiatives and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, utilizing system knowledge to generate detailed reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
