About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Maintenance Manager to join our team at Avon Estates Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance operations at our Stratford Parks site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage our maintenance team and contracted tradespeople, ensuring we recognize and celebrate individual successes.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety standards requirements and paperwork are implemented and adhered to.
  • Resource planning and management, including responding to maintenance requests in the fastest most cost-effective way.
  • Make purchasing decisions with the best value and appropriate quality at the forefront, ensuring all department budgets and systems are adhered to and where required recouping any monies owed.
  • Work closely with senior management team members to successfully coordinate the delivery, siting, and sales preparation of residential lodges and holiday homes.
  • Ensure the Float Management system is installed correctly, and will operate effectively.
  • Ensure all machinery used is kept in a good clean working order and any relevant safety checks are carried out on a regular basis.
  • Attract and recruit team members and develop them to a very effective team through providing coaching, training, and support.
  • When necessary, a hands-on approach and knowledge to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and finished to a high standard.
Requirements
  • A self-starter who is ambitious with an ambition to excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a general maintenance department is essential, with a proven ability to run an effective and efficient maintenance team.
  • Experience with the maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Flexibility as this role could, when necessary, include weekend and some evening work.
  • Good IT and administration knowledge/skills.
  • A knowledge of Health & Safety and Safe Working Practices.
  • A valid driving licence.
Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, Monday-Sunday
