We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team at Anderson Scott Solutions Ltd. As Operations Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing process improvements, and ensuring the organisation's goals and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage operational teams, providing direction and leadership, and aligning activities with organisational goals.
- Oversee operational processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing initiatives to streamline operations.
- Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Recruit, train, guide, and mentor team leaders, providing clear direction, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective communication between departments.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products and services meet or exceed established standards.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively, coordinating with customers and teams to deliver satisfactory resolutions.
- Analyse, anticipate, and forecast trends and patterns of the company and marketplace to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the operations budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing measures for improvement while maintaining operational excellence.
- Extensive experience in the role or in a similar role.
- Experience in service delivery within the IT software industry, ideally within an ERP SaaS software supplier, such as Oracle/NetSuite, Business Central, SAP, etc.
- Experience of scaling departments within a growing business.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, identifying problems and proposing effective solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions.
- Familiarity with various business software, e.g. ERP, CRM, project management tools.
- Implementation experience in ISO27001 & ISO9001.
