Production Test Engineer

As a Production Test Engineer, you will collaborate with a leading company in the Defence and Aerospace industry, known for its commitment to innovation and growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting tests on intricate electronic and electrical systems, diagnosing production test failures down to the component level, and identifying corrective actions promptly to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Evaluating test equipment issues and coordinating with support services to address equipment malfunctions. You will also assess technical challenges to propose investigations and corrective measures, including process enhancements.
  • Representing Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings to ensure the efficient handling of equipment and quality notifications leading to corrective actions.

Role requirements (skills, training, and qualifications):

  • HNC/HND in Electronics or equivalent, along with substantial experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacturing and testing.
  • A solid understanding of measurement and testing principles, as well as the associated equipment.
  • Familiarity with RF and microwave technology at the subsystem level is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Environmental testing, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), is also beneficial.
  • Training in manual handling and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) is required.
