About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to join our team at Orwell Housing Association. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a strengths-based support service that places our customers at the centre of all that we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the delivery of a high-quality support service that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through robust quality assurance and reflective practice.
  • Deliver a robust housing management service, ensuring maximising of income and good budgetary control.
  • Lead on the delivery of a safe environment that adheres to all health and safety legislation and embeds safe processes and policies.
  • Lead on local collaboration within your local area and ensure the widest partnership working to enhance and support our service delivery.
  • Inspire and motivate your team through robust support and coaching, reflective practice, training, and development.

About You

We are looking for a warm and friendly individual with a natural caring nature, great sense of humour, and a positive energy that brings a smile to people's faces. You will be a great listener with a caring and supportive attitude, and you will want to make a difference every day.

Requirements:

  • Leadership qualification or willingness to gain a qualification in the Orwell Academy.
  • GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C / 9-4 or equivalent).
  • A full driving licence is essential.
